Recon Armor is EOB It stands for Employee of Bungie
This Achievement has been antagonized for its difficulty to earn. Currently, there is only one playlist that falls within the conditions. Since the playlist, Lone Wolves, originally only supported 5 player per match, for Overkill to be unlocked a player had to kill every other player in the game within four seconds of each kill. This was proven very difficult, and many players opt to get this achievement simply in an achievement match. This was rectified and made slightly easier in a recent update, where the amount of people allowed per game was upped to 6.
It was briefly possible to earn this achievement relatively easily during the Halloween zombie special. If you started as the alpha zombie on a “creeping death” match, it was possible to have 4 or more opponents clustered together and to easily sneak up and eliminate them all with a single gravity hammer stroke. - source

“Oh, folks are begging us for the Recon Armor perm, and we’re giving it out to a couple of community members today as a special treat:
ZB Shogun for suffering the most humiliating traffic accident ever: Rubber Bullet and Skyllus vBi for shooting himself in the head with his own Sniper Rifle.
Both lucky players will now find that Recon is a useable armor perm next time they log into Halo 3 and for the rest of you don’t bother asking us for it. We’ll give it out based on good deeds and valuable community service and occasionally because they make us laugh, as seen above. There will be plenty of occasions and reasons to get it. PM-ing and emailing us will not make any difference. But play nice and be a good sport and who knows?”

how is it possible to unlock recon armour because im a big fan of bungie but dont really know how to obtain this could you help?
There is no way to unlock the Recon Armor.
Those seen online with this armor are Bungie employees and the lucky few gamers Bungie decides to share with.
You get the recon armor if one of your pictures or videos gets put on bungie favorites… omg, i cant believe you didnt know that… comon!!!

do you have to play online to get get the armor, or can you get some of it by playing regular campain?
For Q number 8, just because you get put on bungies favs does not mean you get recon armor. I know some of the people that were on bungies favs and they did not get recon armor. Any ways for Q number 7, most of the armor that you will see you can only get from playing on matchmaking. The only way to get recon armor is to be aworded it.
Don’t even ask them for it because they will never give it to you. There is only 4 people in the world who got the recon armor who are not bungie employes. The 4 are ZB Shogun, Rubber Bullet, Skyllus vBi, and Lintendo64.

how do you get commando shoulders; i’ve gotten all acheivments but it won’t unlock.
Commando Shoulders should unlock by getting the Killing Frenzy achievement.
It is awarded for killing 10 enemies without dying in a ranked free for all playlist. It awards the player 5 Gamerpoints.
This achievement can be a difficult one. The easiest way to get is during an objective game when your opponents aren’t concentrating on you as much as the objective. King of the Hill, for example, can be quite an easy gametype to score this achievement on.

would you give recon in competition? like fight for it in lone wolves ,1st place gets it but u have to be in like level 45 or higher. can u guys do that? I just need the recon im also trying something stupid or funny so i can get it
reply to #10. Well ive seen other ppl than shotgun and those other 3 guys have recon armor and they told me they diddent work for bungie, so i think there might be more than 4 ppl out there who dont work for bungie and have the recon armor.

Hi, I have made tons of funny and cool screenshots and videos and put them on my file share but how do you get bungie to look at them. Because i have heard that if some of your stuff from your file share goes on the bungie favourites, you get recon armour. i have made lots of stuff but the bugie favourites never change and how do you know when they have a look on your file share
I loved halo for many years since the first came out and can’t wait for halo wars coming out. I wonder if you can answer my questions there might be alot though. Umm, I have been seeing many players online with the Recon amor
and have been wondering if you can unlock this armor by the rumor that there is a switch at the top of the main tower where truth is. I looked all over pretty much and if there is on can you describe the steps. Also I was wondering if your going to make the halo wars multplayer. Just give me a yes or no if you can.
I have some ideas for halo 4 if your going to produce it.( Don’t read this if you want no need). Umm you need like a boss where you can do stunts and jump on him or stab him with a sword or somethin at the end. Halo 1 was really great halo 2 was great and halo 3 is only fun on the multiplayer. You need a boss instead of a brute at the end and a freaking lightbulb that dies easily. Also most of my friends don’t play halo because you can’t run or sprint. I mean that would ruin the sword and axe but you need something to make you run faster.
One more thing if somehow you could send me the recon armor please do. I always wanted it as I saw it (so did others) but I won’t say anything if you give it to me. Well I hope you can answer my questions and give me the armor but whatever

lol no there is no switch just get a job at bungie or waste the rest of your teenage years trying to make cool photos just to get some virtual armor you will very soon forget about.
Meta game is the 15000 points you need for each campaign lvl. Basically you gota play on heroic with at least 2 skulls activated and dont die alot and get stylish kills to come close. Or play on legendary and dont die alot. Basically….its hard as -blam!-.
Actually Bungie just came up with an update so that everybody with or without the killing frenzy achievement will get the commando shoulders.
i dont have xbox online so how do i get all that armor that u have to go online and get

How Do U unlock security shoulders i have 795 gamer points, and yes they are all from halo3. but i cant seem to unlock them
u may have to get 800 gamer points or get the meta-game and marathon man achievement.
