Remedy Games, best known for their Max Payne series, is hard at work developing Alan Wake, a psychological action thriller that takes place in a small town somewhere in Washington State.

This ambitious single player adventure will feature free-roaming gameplay, that will include driving. While no release has been set so far, look for this title in stores in 2009. Microsoft Game Studios will be publishing Alan Wake for PC and Xbox 360.
