Waiting

Scott Ransoomair understands how “hardcore” gamers feel after the disappointing Nintendo E3 showing with his recent VG Cats entitled “Waiting”. This really is what Nintendo’s faithful are doing right now, waiting. George Walker posted an article over at Aeropause that discusses this very subject and he makes an excellent point that you may find it of interest.

Wii Fat

Check out Sarcastic Gamer’s satire of the Nintendo Wii Fit sung to the tune of Joni Mitchell’s ‘They Paved Paradise and Put Up a Parking Lot’.

Top Gear the BF2 parody

I know this isn’t new but I really enjoyed this excellent machinima parody of the BBC series “Top Gear” made using the Battlefield 2 engine by XaliaS Designs and SIR Community. Watch this reenactment of a Challenger 2 tank hunting a SUV (the vehicle was actually a Range Rover Sport in the original Top Gear airing) that tries to escape through a forest. Enjoy!

Hey Mr. Thompson - The Video

This music video isn’t brand new but hasn’t been featured here at VideoGame2Play. This is Doc Adams ode to Mr. Jack Thompson, the attorney who has heavily criticized a number of video games and campaigned against their producers and distributors.

Who can you count on to blame video games in virtually every situation? Mr. Thompson! That’s who.

Sarcastic Gamer once again teams with MFreakinJ to bring you a song about everyone’s favorite nutball attorney, Mr. Thompson!

Video Produced by MFreakinJ. Song produced and performed by Doc Adams.

Halo 3 Hype Hoedown: music video

Halo 3 Hype Hoedown

The latest song from SarcasticGamer is about Microsoft’s soon to be released Halo 3. Jeromy “Doc” Adams had this to say regarding the song:

With all of the Halo 3 Hype that’s ramping up, we knew we couldn’t let this record-breaking franchise get away unscathed. Here’s “The Halo 3 Hype Hoedown”, delivering 3 minutes of foot stompin’, spoon clackin’ funny for fanboys and skeptics alike.

Bad Game: The Shadowrun Song

Bad Game: The Shadowrun Song

SarcasticGamer has this new track available, entitled “Bad Game: The Shadowrun Song” this is what Doc Adams had to say:

“With the incredible line up of highly-anticipated games hitting the shelves this fall, we thought it might be nice to put a few less-spectacular titles in the rear view mirror. Here’s a song all about the games we enjoyed the least this year, most notably, Shadowrun.

No Frickin Games!

SarcasticGamer’s Doc Adams returns with a parody of “Wake Me Up When September Ends” from Green Day.

No Frickin Games! The New PS3 Song

Doc Adams shares his thoughts on the song:

Here you go gang. Our latest offering in the “Make fun of a multi-billion dollar franchise” category.

Fresh off of Sony’s retraction of the claim that there would be 380 games for the PS3 by March (since revised down to 145), we just couldn’t resist. We call this one “No Frickin Games”. In case you’ve been living under Rosie O’donnell, this song is about the extreme shortage of exclusive or compelling titles that currently exist for Sony’s crown jewel. We hope you enjoy it.

I hate this… (the Wii song)

I hate this… (the Wii song)

SarcasticGamer has this audio commentary on the state of the Nintendo Wii game library.

For far too long the Wii has managed to escape our satirical gaze. Well no more!

Inspired by scores of gamers who find that after a short time their Wii’s work better as bookends than as a gaming platforms, we offer you this little ditty. Overcoming a total lack of rhythm wasn’t easy…. but we almost did it. Our flame suits are once again out of the closet as we prepare for the massive backlash from satisfied Wii-players. (You have to respect those guys…. They have MASSIVE right arms from playing so much Wii Tennis).
