Microsoft not buying EA
Rumors circulated the web recently that Microsoft was purchasing EA.

Microsoft spoke with the Washington Post today to set the record straight. It looks like all the buying and selling of was moot, because Phil Spencer says it’s not happening during a talk with Reuters:

“We have no plans to acquire EA. They remain a very important partner to us. No acquisitions.”
Phil Spencer, corporate vice president, Microsoft Game Studios

When pressed on whether the two companies had held any talks at all, Spencer declined comment.
