Gamespot reports that Nintendo will be releasing Super Mario Kart as a download via Virtual Console on the Wii tomorrow (11/23/09) for 800 Wii Points ($8 US). The game was released originally in 1992 for the Super Nintendo.

Also before years end you will be able to download the 1991 Super Nintendo launch title Pilotwings, along with the 4-player fighting game Super Smash Bros. that released in 1999 for the Nintendo 64.
