Freestyle 101: Del tha Funkee Homosapien

Del tha Funkee HomosapienOakland hip hop legend Del tha Funkee Homosapien gives some retro love to Sega’s Zaxxon and Congo Bongo, Namco’s Pac-Man, Nintendo’s Donkey Kong and Yoshi in this awesome freestyle rap made for G4. Afterwards he shares his love for gaming and freestyling making comparisons to the two in an excellent interview that was made for G4. The following video is recommended to all ages. Check it out.

Quit Playing Video Games and Get Laid

Dragon Boy Suede suggests you to “comb your hair / take a shower / put down that copy of Nintendo Power”. Now this probably is NSFW but this rap throws a ton of retro gaming references over a decent beat with a catchy chorus and pretty decent production values, I found this song to be quite entertaining and worth a listen to.

Hey Mr. Thompson - The Video

This music video isn’t brand new but hasn’t been featured here at VideoGame2Play. This is Doc Adams ode to Mr. Jack Thompson, the attorney who has heavily criticized a number of video games and campaigned against their producers and distributors.

Who can you count on to blame video games in virtually every situation? Mr. Thompson! That’s who.

Sarcastic Gamer once again teams with MFreakinJ to bring you a song about everyone’s favorite nutball attorney, Mr. Thompson!

Video Produced by MFreakinJ. Song produced and performed by Doc Adams.

Red Ring of Death: Attack of the Show

Red Ring of Death

I’ll admit I had to send my 360 in for warranty repair, which I didn’t find amusing. But Microsoft didn’t charge me anything and had a brand new machine delivered in about 1 months time.

Well G4’s Attack of the Show makes an attempt at humor with “Red Ring of Death,” a cheesy metal video that accurately describes the console’s tendency to get “hotter than a dragon’s breath.”
